Materials needed:

Red yarn (worsted weight or any yarn of your choice)
Green yarn (worsted weight or any yarn of your choice)
Crochet hook appropriate for your yarn choice
Fiberfill stuffing
Yarn needle
Scissors
Cherry (make 2):
Using red yarn, follow these instructions:

Round 1: Make a magic ring and work 6 single crochet (sc) stitches into the ring. Pull the ring tight. (6 stitches)

Round 2: Work 2 sc in each stitch around. (12 stitches)

Round 3: Work 2 sc in the next stitch, 1 sc in the next stitch. Repeat from * to * around. (18 stitches)

Round 4: Work 2 sc in the next stitch, 1 sc in the next 2 stitches. Repeat from * to * around. (24 stitches)

Round 5: Work 2 sc in the next stitch, 1 sc in the next 3 stitches. Repeat from * to * around. (30 stitches)

Round 6-7: Work 1 sc in each stitch around. (30 stitches)

Round 8: Work 1 sc in the next stitch, sc2tog (decrease). Repeat from * to * around. (20 stitches)

Start stuffing the cherry with fiberfill.

Round 9: Work 1 sc in each stitch around. (20 stitches)

Round 10: Sc2tog (decrease) Repeat from * to * around. (10 stitches)

Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing. Weave the tail through the stitches of the last round and pull tight to close the opening. Secure the yarn and trim off any excess.

Stem (make 2):
Using green yarn, follow these instructions:

Leave a long starting tail for sewing.

Row 1: Chain 6.

Row 2: Starting in the second chain from the hook, work 1 slip stitch (sl st) in each chain. (5 stitches)

Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing. Weave the tail through the stitches to secure the stem.
