Crochet Mandala:

Start with a magic ring or chain 4 and join with a slip stitch to form a ring.
Round 1: Chain 3 (counts as first double crochet), work 11 double crochets into the ring. Join with a slip stitch to the top of the beginning chain 3. You should have 12 stitches.
Round 2: Chain 3 (counts as first double crochet), work 1 double crochet in the same stitch. Work 2 double crochets in each stitch around. Join with a slip stitch to the top of the beginning chain 3. You should have 24 stitches.
From here, you can continue working in rounds, adding stitches or stitch patterns of your choice. You can experiment with different stitch combinations, colors, and textures to create unique mandalas.

chet Square:

  1. Start with a chain of the desired length for the size of your square. For example, chain 20 for a small square.
  2. Row 1: In the 2nd chain from the hook, work a single crochet. Work a single crochet in each chain across. You should have 19 single crochets.
  3. Row 2: Chain 1 (does not count as a stitch), turn your work. Work a single crochet in each stitch across.
  4. Repeat Row 2 until your square reaches the desired size. You can change colors, switch to different stitch patterns, or add borders to make your square more decorative.
