BERNAT SCALLOP EDGE HANGER COVER

Materials:

• Worsted weight yarn in the color of your choice
• Crochet hook (size determined by the yarn you’re using)
• Yarn needle
• Scissors
• Wooden or plastic hanger

Pattern:

Note: This pattern is worked in rounds without turning unless specified otherwise.

1. Begin by creating a slip knot and placing it on your crochet hook.
2. Round 1: Chain 6. Join with a slip stitch to the first chain to form a ring.
3. Round 2: Chain 1 (does not count as a stitch), single crochet in the ring. Make 11 more single crochet stitches in the ring. Join with a slip stitch to the first single crochet. (12 stitches)

6. Round 5: Slip stitch into the space between the first two double crochet stitches of the previous round. Chain 3, double crochet in the same space. In the next space between V-stitches, make 2 double crochet stitches Repeat from * to * around. Join with a slip stitch to the top of the chain 3.
7. Rounds 6-8: Repeat Round 5.
8. Round 9: Slip stitch into the space between the first two double crochet stitches of the previous round. Chain 1, single crochet in the same space. In the next space between V-stitches, make 2 single crochet stitches Repeat from * to * around. Join with a slip stitch to the first single crochet.
9. Round 10: Chain 1, single crochet in each stitch around. Join with a slip stitch to the first single crochet.
10. Rounds 11-12: Repeat Round 10.
11. Fasten off and weave in any loose ends with a yarn needle.
12. Place the hanger cover over a wooden or plastic hanger, adjusting it to fit snugly.
