CROCHET PLANT POT COZY

Materials:

• Worsted weight yarn in your choice of color
• Crochet hook (size H/5mm or size needed to obtain gauge)
• Yarn needle for weaving in ends
• Scissors
• Plant pot (to measure and fit your cozy)

Gauge: Gauge is not crucial for this pattern as it can be easily adjusted to fit your specific pot size.

Pattern:

Note: This pattern uses US crochet terminology.

Round 1: Magic ring, ch 1 (does not count as a stitch), work 8 single crochet (SC) into the magic ring. (8 SC)

Alternatively, if you don’t want to use a magic ring, you can chain 2, then work the 8 SC into the second chain from the hook and join with a slip stitch to the first SC.

Round 2: Ch 1, 2 SC in each stitch around. Join with a slip stitch to the first SC. (16 SC)

Round 3: Ch 1, 1 SC in the next stitch, 2 SC in the next stitch. Repeat from * to * around. Join with a slip stitch to the first SC. (24 SC)

Rounds 4-7: Ch 1, 1 SC in each stitch around. Join with a slip stitch to the first SC. (24 SC)

You can repeat Round 4 multiple times, depending on the height you desire for your plant pot cozy.

Round 8: Ch 1, slip stitch in each stitch around. Join with a slip stitch to the first slip stitch.

Fasten off and weave in any loose ends.
