Easy Ribbed Beanie:
Materials Needed:
Worsted weight yarn
Crochet hook suitable for the yarn weight
Yarn needle
Scissors
Instructions:
Begin by making a foundation chain that fits comfortably around your head. Join the last chain to the first chain with a slip stitch to form a ring.
Round 1: Chain 2 (counts as the first half double crochet), work one half double crochet (hdc) in each chain around. Join with a slip stitch to the top of the beginning chain-2.
Rounds 2-10: Chain 2, hdc in each stitch around. Join with a slip stitch to the top of the beginning chain-2.
Fasten off, leaving a long tail. Weave the tail through the stitches of the last round and pull tight to cinch the top of the hat. Secure and weave in any remaining yarn ends.
