Crochet scarf Patterns

Materials needed:

Worsted weight yarn (color of your choice)
Appropriate crochet hook for the yarn weight
Scissors
Yarn needle for weaving in ends
Pattern:

Step 1: Start by making a slip knot and chaining a multiple of 3 stitches. The length of the starting chain will determine the width of your scarf. For example, you can start with a chain of 24 for a narrower scarf or 36 for a wider scarf.

Step 2: Row 1: In the fourth chain from the hook, work a double crochet stitch. Double crochet in each chain across the row. (Skip 2 chains between each double crochet stitch.) Turn your work.

Step 3: Row 2: Chain 3 (counts as the first double crochet). Work a double crochet stitch in the space between the first and second double crochet stitches of the previous row. Skip 2 stitches, work a double crochet in the space between the next set of double crochet stitches. Repeat from * to * across the row. Work a double crochet in the top chain of the turning chain. Turn your work.

Step 4: Repeat Row 2 until your scarf reaches the desired length. You can make it as long as you like.

Step 5: Once your scarf is the desired length, fasten off and weave in any loose ends using a yarn needle.
