Easter Rabbit Wall Decor

Materials you will need:

Worsted weight yarn in various colors (for the rabbit’s body, ears, and any accessories)
Crochet hook suitable for your yarn weight (typically around H/5.00mm)
Scissors
Tapestry needle
Fiberfill or stuffing material
Optional: small pom-poms, buttons, or beads for embellishments
Abbreviations:

ch: chain
sc: single crochet
hdc: half double crochet
dc: double crochet
st(s): stitch(es)
sl st: slip stitch
Easter Rabbit Pattern:
Note: This pattern is worked in continuous rounds, so there is no need to join at the end of each round unless specified.

Body:
Round 1: Start with a magic circle. Alternatively, chain 2 and work 6 sc into the first chain to form a ring. (6 stitches)

Round 2: Work 2 sc into each stitch around. (12 stitches)

Round 3: 1 sc in the next stitch, 2 sc in the next stitch Repeat from * to * around. (18 stitches)

Round 4-6: Work 1 sc in each stitch around. (18 stitches)

Round 7: 1 sc in the next stitch, sc2tog (single crochet two stitches together) Repeat from * to * around. (12 stitches)

Round 8: Sc2tog around. (6 stitches)

Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.

Ears (make 2):
Note: The ears are worked separately and then sewn onto the rabbit’s body.

Row 1: Ch 6, hdc in the 2nd chain from the hook, hdc in the next 4 chains. Turn. (5 stitches)

Row 2-4: Ch 1, hdc in each stitch across. Turn. (5 stitches)

Row 5: Ch 1, hdc2tog in the first 2 stitches, hdc in the next stitch, hdc2tog in the last 2 stitches. Turn. (3 stitches)

Row 6: Ch 1, hdc in each stitch across. Turn. (3 stitches)

Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.
