Pattern:
Head and Body:
Begin with a magic ring, ch 1 (does not count as a stitch), and work 6 sc into the ring. Join with a sl st to the first sc. (6 sts)
Ch 1, work 2 sc in each st around. Join with a sl st. (12 sts)
Ch 1, sc in the next st, 2 sc in the next st – repeat around. Join with a sl st. (18 sts)
Ch 1, sc in the next 2 sts, 2 sc in the next st – repeat around. Join with a sl st. (24 sts)
Ch 1, sc in the next 3 sts, 2 sc in the next st – repeat around. Join with a sl st. (30 sts)
Continue to increase gradually in each round until your desired head size is achieved. Then, work even (no increases) until the body is the desired length.
Arms (make 2):
Begin with a magic ring, ch 1 (does not count as a stitch), and work 6 sc into the ring. Join with a sl st to the first sc. (6 sts)
Ch 1, sc in each st around. Join with a sl st. (6 sts)
Repeat Round 2 until the arm reaches the desired length. Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.
Legs (make 2):
Begin with a magic ring, ch 1 (does not count as a stitch), and work 6 sc into the ring. Join with a sl st to the first sc. (6 sts)
Ch 1, sc in each st around. Join with a sl st. (6 sts)
Repeat Round 2 until the leg reaches the desired length. Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.
Ears (make 2):
Ch 5, sc in the 2nd ch from the hook and in the next 3 chs. Ch 1, turn. (4 sts)
Sc in each st across. Ch 1, turn. (4 sts)
Sc2tog, sc in the next 2 sts, sc2tog. Ch 1, turn. (3 sts)
Sc in each st across. Ch 1, turn. (3 sts)
Sc2tog, sc in the next st, sc2tog. Ch 1, turn. (2 sts)
Sc in each st across. Ch 1, turn. (2 sts)
Sc2tog. Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.
