HEART FINGERLESS GLOVES

Materials you’ll need:

• Worsted weight yarn in your desired color

Instructions:

1. Gauge: Start by creating a gauge swatch. Crochet a small square using your chosen stitch pattern to determine how many stitches and rows you need to achieve the desired size. Measure the gauge and adjust your hook size if necessary.
2. Measurement: Measure the circumference of your hand at the widest part around the knuckles. This will help you determine the number of stitches needed for the wristband.
3. Wristband:
   • Chain the number of stitches needed to achieve the desired circumference of the wristband. The exact number of chains will depend on your gauge and measurements.
   • Join the chain into a ring by slip stitching into the first chain.
   • Work your chosen stitch pattern in rounds or rows until the wristband reaches the desired length. You can use single crochet, double crochet, or any stitch pattern you prefer.
4. Hand portion:
   • Once the wristband is the desired length, continue working in your chosen stitch pattern for the hand portion.
   • Determine the length you want for your fingerless gloves and crochet until you reach that length. You can customize the gloves to cover only your palm or extend up to your fingers.
5. Thumb opening:
   • To create a thumb opening, fold your work in half horizontally, aligning the starting and ending points of the wristband. Mark the desired width of the thumb opening in the middle of the fold.
