Knit Scarf and Hat

Materials you’ll need:

Yarn: Choose a yarn that is suitable for scarves and hats, such as worsted weight or bulky yarn. The color and texture are entirely up to your preference.

Scarf instructions:

Once you have the foundation chain, begin crocheting in your desired stitch pattern. Common stitch patterns for scarves include single crochet, half double crochet, or double crochet. Choose the one you like best.
Continue working rows in your chosen stitch pattern until the scarf reaches your desired length. Remember to leave a little extra yarn for fringes or tassels if you’d like to add them.
Hat instructions:

Start by creating a magic ring or a chain and joining it with a slip stitch to form a loop. The size of the ring or chain will depend on the circumference of the hat you want to make.
Work your first round into the ring or chain, making single crochet, half double crochet, or double crochet stitches. The stitch pattern you choose will determine the texture of the hat.
Continue crocheting in the round, working increases or maintaining the same stitch count to shape the hat. Refer to a hat pattern or measurements for guidance on how many rounds to work.
Once the hat reaches the desired height, finish off the top by decreasing stitches evenly until you have a small opening.
Cut the yarn, leaving a long tail. Thread the tail through a yarn needle and weave it through the stitches of the final round to close the top of the hat.
Weave in any remaining ends using the yarn needle.
