Pattern:
Note: This pattern uses US crochet terminology.
- Base: Chain 31.
Row 1: In the second chain from the hook, work 1 sc. Work 1 sc in each chain across. (30 sc) Rows 2-4: Ch 1, turn. Work 1 sc in each stitch across. (30 sc) Fasten off and weave in ends.
- Flap: Row 1: Join the yarn to the top right corner of the base. Ch 1, work 1 sc in the same stitch and in each of the next 8 stitches. (9 sc) Rows 2-10: Ch 1, turn. Work 1 sc in each stitch across. (9 sc) Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing.
- Button Loop: Row 1: Join the yarn to the top left corner of the base. Ch 1, work 1 sc in the same stitch and in each of the next 4 stitches. (5 sc) Rows 2-4: Ch 1, turn. Work 1 sc in each stitch across. (5 sc) Row 5: Ch 1, turn. Work 1 sc in the first stitch. Ch 3, skip the next 3 stitches, and work 1 sc in the last stitch. (1 sc, 3 ch) Fasten off and weave in ends.
