Step 2: Row 1: In the 4th chain from the hook, work a double crochet (dc). Skip 2 chains, work 5 double crochets in the next chain, skip 2 chains, work a double crochet in the next chain. Repeat from * to * across the row. Turn your work.
Step 3: Row 2: Chain 3 (counts as the first double crochet). Work 2 double crochets in the space between the first and second double crochet stitches of the previous row. Work a double crochet in the next double crochet, skip the next 2 double crochets, work 5 double crochets in the space between the next 2 double crochets. Repeat from * to * across the row. Work a double crochet in the turning chain of the previous row. Turn your work.
Step 4: Repeat Row 2 until your scarf reaches the desired length. You can make it as long as you like.
Step 5: Once your scarf is the desired length, fasten off and weave in any loose ends using a yarn needle.
