Materials:
- Worsted weight yarn (approx. 800-1000 yards)
- Crochet hook suitable for your yarn
- Scissors
- Yarn needle
- Buttons (optional)
Size: This pattern is written for a women’s size small/medium. However, you can easily adjust the size by modifying the number of stitches and rows.
Abbreviations:
- Ch: Chain
- Sc: Single crochet
- Dc: Double crochet
- Sl st: Slip stitch
- St(s): Stitch(es)
Pattern:
Back Panel:
- Chain 70.
- Row 1: Sc in the second ch from the hook and in each ch across. Ch 1, turn.
- Row 2: Sc in each st across. Ch 1, turn.
- Repeat Row 2 until your back panel measures your desired length (from shoulder to waist).
Right Front Panel:
- Chain 35.
- Row 1: Sc in the second ch from the hook and in each ch across. Ch 1, turn.
- Row 2: Sc in each st across. Ch 1, turn.
- Repeat Row 2 until your front panel measures the same length as the back panel.
Left Front Panel:
- Chain 35.
- Row 1: Sc in the second ch from the hook and in each ch across. Ch 1, turn.
- Row 2: Sc in each st across. Ch 1, turn.
- Repeat Row 2 until your front panel measures the same length as the back panel.
Sleeves (Make 2):
- Chain 40.
- Row 1: Sc in the second ch from the hook and in each ch across. Ch 1, turn.
- Row 2: Sc in each st across. Ch 1, turn.
- Repeat Row 2 until your sleeve measures your desired length (from underarm to wrist).
Assembly:
- Lay the back panel flat and attach the right front panel to the right edge of the back panel using single crochet stitches. Repeat with the left front panel on the left edge.
- Fold the sleeves in half lengthwise and sew the edges together to create a tube.
- Attach the sleeves to the armholes using single crochet stitches.
- Weave in any loose ends.
