Materials:
- Black yarn (or color of your choice)
- Crochet hook suitable for your yarn weight
- Fiberfill or stuffing material
- Yarn needle
- Safety eyes or embroidery thread for eyes (optional)
- Scissors
- Start with a magic ring (or alternative method to start in a circle). Round 1: Crochet 6 single crochet stitches into the magic ring. (6 stitches) Round 2: 2 single crochet stitches in each stitch Repeat from * to * around. (12 stitches) Round 3: 1 single crochet stitch in the next stitch, 2 single crochet stitches in the following stitch Repeat from * to * around. (18 stitches)
- Sew the wings onto the sides of the body, slightly angled upward.
- Sew the ears onto the top of the body.
- If using safety eyes, attach them between rounds 5 and 6 on the body. Alternatively, you can embroider the eyes using black embroidery thread.
- Stuff the body lightly with fiberfill or stuffing material.
- Using the long tail left from the body, sew the opening closed.
